In a cafe or restaurant that is actually open and doing business, of the sort that can be found anywhere, is a woman muttering to herself the story of the creation and history of a fictional paradise. From outside the establishment, the members of the audience see her through the windows and view footage showing only her hands and arms on a monitor. They also can hear her speaking as well as the commotion inside the place. The story she mutters reacts with the "tale" told by her hands shown on the monitor, and together they prod a leap of imagination to the confusion of the international community and modern history. Scenes and characters taken for granted as part of urban life today 2 even we ourselves 2 may very well become threats to someone else tomorrow. The work crystallizes the risks and insecurities inherent in cities and contemporary society.
